What
a totally amazing weekend @ Fangoria here in NJ. I had GMW Guitars refinish a
Jackson of mine with a "Jason" graphic, inspired by Part 6 (CJ Graham
is Jason) for the show. When I got the guitar back from them, I knew it would be
an amazing piece to have signed. But that was only the beginning, and my girl
and I hit the show. All the Friday the 13th cast was signing in 1 room (Belmont), and CJ
was the first person to see and sign it. As soon as he saw it he asked if he
could check it out, took it and stood up holding it by the neck with 1 hand and
yelling over to Kane "Kane check this out". All the people and cast
loved the guitar, and were totally amazed by it. No one had seen a guitar like
this. Later on that day, Warrington (Jason part 2) was doing interview with
Paramount I didn't
know about for an upcoming DVD and mentioned me and my guitar. A few min later, the
camera crew saw me with the guitar, and said they just talked to Warrington and
he mentioned the guitar. They asked if they could do an interview with me for the
DVD. So they asked me about the guitar, I told them it was
custom made for the show, and GMW Guitars did the graphic. They also asked a few other
questions, not sure what was asked or what I said but we will see - It was a
long 2 days. All the people were very cool, even though CJ stole my Sharpie, and a
VERY special thanks to all the cast and crew of Friday the 13th and Paramount for the great
treatment. See ya on the box set DVD!!!
And as for some of the guests: Kane, yes i'm going to try and get more "Jason" autographs; CJ, enjoy the pen my friend, but never ever hold my guitar over your head by the neck again haha, and catch ya at the slots; John, still wanna trade your jacket for the guitar?; Warrington, thanks for mentioning me to Paramount on camera; Ari, music lives forever man; And last, thanks to the Chiller Staff for not making us stand outside in line when it was 1 degree on Saturday.
**** We were told at the show, that some of the footage that was taped on Saturday during the Jason panel will be used on the DVD box set. So if you asked a question, you may be on there. In fact, 1 person asked about the DVD set, and they said that this is being recorded and your question will be on it. I saw the same camera crew after they interviewed me on Sunday go back into the Belmont room and record some of the cast signing, and a few more interviews. Like "What would you do if you were being chased my Jason". My answer was, run, because like Kane says, Jason DOES NOT run.
